Ömer lives in a small town in Istanbul where almost all the men work as fishermen. During his military service, while sailing, he sees a boat with refugees from Syria. Unfortunately, the boat was sinking and there was a little boy drowning in the water. Ömer jumps into the water to rescue the poor boy. Coincidentally, they both have the same name… Ömer takes the boy and his family to the army ship so they are safe. Subsequently, the army allows Ömer to return home 15 days before his military discharge as a gift. Ömer is back home as a hero, but is shocked to learn the truth: A mob group with international connections has started using local fishing boats for the purpose of smuggling people, weapons and drugs.
